Facebook Leads to Robbery Arrests
People never cease to amaze me with how moronic they can be. Estefany Daniela Martinez, 19, had her Facebook status as, “Get $$$ (;.,” and Ricky Gonzales, 18, had his status as, “Wipe my teeth with hundreds.” No, those were not lyrics from 50 Cent’s newest club banger. Those short phrases incriminated the two as being involved in a robbery which occurred at the bank where the two were employed. Over $62,000 had been reported missing from the International Bank of Commerce in Houston, TX. Until those postings were found there were no other leads about the heist. Someone who saw the statuses sent a tip to the PD saying information might be on Facebook, and now two additional individuals are in custody.
Unreal… You just participated in armed robbery and posted about it on Facebook. Well played.
