>Sheen in Chicago: No Boos but Still Not Winning
Charlie Sheen’s second performance in his Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option Tour started and ended with applause, but it was still nothing extraordinary. Several changes were made to the performance and it could only be improved upon since the disaster in Detroit. This outing, at the 3,600 person Chicago Theatre was more like a talk show, which included an unnamed interviewer asking Charlie questions and keeping him on track. Frequent interaction with the audience was the key to success this time around. A chant of, “Detroit Sucks,” started the show and Sheen wore an oversized, collared shirt for the duration of the performance which was thrown at him by a member of the crowd. So, will the tour be a success? We’ll just have to wait for results of his upcoming performances.
